GRADE II+. LATE C19 FORMAL GARDENS WITH SURROUNDING INFORMAL & EXOTIC WOODLAND. PRINCIPAL SHAPING OF HILLTOP & MAIN PLANTATIONS BY ELIE LAINE; GROUNDS & GARDENS LAID OUT BY THE BAILIFF, MR SIMS & GARDENERS MR BRADSHAW & MR JACQUES. 2 MAIN FORMAL FEATURES, NW APPROACH & SE FOUNTAIN GARDEN (FURTHER DETAIL & MAP)(B2).
Detailed historical background and restoration proposals for parkland (B4).
