Description

Dimensions - Height 2m, Radius 9m.
Plan Form - CIRCULAR
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS: BOWL BARROW, NO DITCH & NO DISTURBANCE IN SURROUNDING CHALK ROCK, EXCEPT 03:700. MOUND CONSISTED OF LAYER OF COMPRESSED CLAY ABOVE OLD TURF LINE (?FROM ADJOINING WAIN HILL) TOPPED WITH CHALK RUBBLE & SOIL (FROM SURFACE SCRAPINGS?). IN MOUND WERE ANIMAL BONES, FLINTS & POT (B1).
