Plan Form - CIRCULAR
10 PITS SYMMETRICALLY CUT INTO CHALK WITH SMOOTH VERTICAL SIDES TO AVERAGE DEPTH 25CM. 7 IN NE QUAD, 2 IN NW, 1 IN SE. FILL: FINE CHALKY SOIL. CHARCOAL IN 1 PIT. ALL PITS HAD ANIMAL BONE, USUALLY BURNT & OX OR PIG, & SOME DEER. 2 PITS HAD LBA POT. CUT INTO OLD TURF LINE. NOT POST HOLES (B1).
