Plan Form - SUBCIRCULAR
PITS CONSISTING OF SHALLOW DISH-SHAPED HOLLOWS PICKED OUT OF CHALK, WITH IRREGULAR EDGES & WALL. AVERAGE DIAMETER: 15-30CM, AVERAGE DEPTH 8-20CM. 3 IN NW QUAD, 4 IN SW, 1 IN SE. NOT POSTHOLES. FILL: CHALKY MOULD. 1 HAD SOME CHARCOAL, 1 WAS BARREN, OTHER HAD BURNT ANIMAL BONE & FLINTS, & 1 SHERD LBA POT (B1).
