Possible Roman settlement recorded in watching brief - A partial excavation in 1967 revealed a large depression and two ditches. The former may be the site of a Roman building or villa which was occupied during the 2nd century. Pottery was found.

Probable Bronze Age burnt mound found during survey and confirmed by trial trenching.

Cropmark of a small rectangular enclosure possibly of Iron Age or Roman date visible as a cropmark east of the Old Dairy.
