The buried remains of a Roman villa, with a basilican plan, are visible as cropmarks and parchmarks from aerial photographs. The villa overlies the north eastern corner of a late Iron Age trapezoidal ditched enclosure.

Bronze Age metalwork found by chance

Early or mid-sixteenth century timber-framed hall house, remodelled in the seventeenth cetury with later alterations and extensions.
