Description

DURING DEMOLITION OF 2-4 TEMPLE ST & 2-4 BOURBON ST, PART OF THE STRUCTURE WAS SHOWN TO BE TUDOR. BELOW THIS, 2 DITCHES (1 ?LATE SAXON) WERE PARTLY EXC AVATED. AN IMPORTANT GROUP OF LATE C12 POTTERY WAS FOUND IN A PIT CUT INTO ONE OF THE DITCHES. ALSO FOUND, A GROUP OF C18 FINDS FROM A WELL (B4).
