UNDERLYING 6 TEMPLE STREET WAS A PROBABLE WELL, AT LEAST 3M DEEP. NOT EXCAVATED, BUT A FEW PIECES OF GLAZED TILE (RECOVERED FROM FILL?) WERE SIMILAR IN FABRIC TO THOSE FROM DITCH 2 & THEREFORE SUGGEST A LATE C12 DATE FOR THIS FEATURE (B4)(P433).
