Description

2 POST MEDIEVAL WELLS RECORDED AFTER DEMOLITION OF HOUSE. ONE HAD FUNCTIONED IN LIVING MEMORY, HAD SIGNS OF TIMBER STAGING FOR A PUMP & WAS AT LEAST 9.2M DEEP. THE 2ND WELL (FEATURE 110 B4 FIG2) EXCAVATED TO 0.5M DEEP; IT PRODUCED A GROUP OF LATE C18 ARTEFACTS (B4 P446).
