SHELTERED LOCATION & NEARBY MERE GOOD FOR HUNTING & SETTLEMENT (NAME: 'FOWLMERE'). EDWARD II BUILT A HOUSE IN 1324, BUT LOCATION UNKNOWN: MAY BE NEW VILLAGE SITE (B6,B8).
