Description

HENRY DE PYNKENEY HAD A PARK AT 'HYREFENN', FULMER IN 1276, & EDWARD II ENLARGED IT IN 1324. IN 1655 SIR MARMADUKE DARRELL DISPOSED OF A PARK IN FULMER. IF HALL (01:200) LAY WITHIN PARK, AS WAS COMMON, THEN CURVING BOUNDARY N OF LOW FARM COULD BE PART OF THE PALE (B3,B6).
In 1655 there was a park of 40 acres which may have been the original one (B9).
