Description

TRADITIONAL SITE OF PAROCHIAL CHAPEL WELL KNOWN FROM DOCUMENTS & FIELD NAMES. EXCAV IN 1929 REVEALED BUILDING MATERIALS, & EARLIER GRAVEL DIGGING TO N PRODUCED MUCH HUMAN BONE; GRAVES DISTURBED DURING BARN CONSTRUCTION, 1936. NO PLAN OF CHAPEL EXCAVATED. 1610: CHURCH ON NEW SITE (CASS 04369)(B1).
