The remains of a medieval deserted settlement of Quarrendon is visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as earthworks and was mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located in fields E of Berryfields and centred at SP 80552 15772, the settlement extends over about 670 metres N-S and 480 metres W-E and was likely depopulated prior to 1485 AD. The settlement comprises linear earthworks banks defining an irregularly shaped perimeter, within which is a complex of hollow ways, trackways and boundary ditches, generally aligned NW-SE and NE-SW, that enclose numerous earthwork scarps, banks and platforms of various shapes and sizes. To the SE of the settlement are ten small blocks of ridge and furrow cultivation earthworks (22-31 ).
