4 SHERDS OF POTTERY FROM PLOUGHED FIELD NEAR CREST OF HILL ADJACENT TO SCHEDULED AREA. 1) HANDMADE BURNISHED RIM, FINE SANDY, OPEN CIRCLE STAMP ON NECK - EARLY SAXON. IMPORTANT. 2) MED RIM WITH APPLIED STRIP WHICH IS STAMPED (UNUSUAL). 3) GROG TEMPERED SHERD LATE IA /ROM. 4) FLINT TEMPERED SHERD IA (B9).
