Description
EXCAVATION IN OLD TEACHERS CENTRE, WALTON RD, IN ADVANCE OF DEMOLITION OF OLD BUILDINGS FOR REDEVELOPMENT FOUND EVIDENCE FOR MEDIEVAL OCCUPATION: DITCHES, PITS, A WELL ETC. SITE MAY HAVE LAIN WITHIN A YARD ADJACENT TO BUILDINGS. SMALL QUANTITY OF PREHIST/ ROMAN MATERIAL (FULL EXCAVATION REPORT & ARCHIVE)(B1).
An excavation by CH Dalwood in Aylesbury revealed a series of C12th and C13th pits and gullies (B2).
