5 LARGE PITS FOUND: 437 WAS 0.74M DEEP; FEW FINDS. 501 WAS OVAL 2.34 X 1.10M. 434, 283, 289 ALIGNED NW/SE, ALL SHALLOW, CONTAINING DARK BROWN, SILTY CL-AY FILL WITH 12-13CENT POTTERY. EXCEPT FOR ONE (RUBBISH?) PITS PERHAPS FOR IND-USTRIAL USES (FURTHER DISCUSSION)(B1).
