Plan Form - U SHAPED
2 DITCHES PARALLEL TO EACH OTHER, AT RT ANGLES TO WALTON RD. W DITCH 1.35M WIDE, 0.58M DEEP. E OF THIS A SMALLER DITCH 0.58M WIDE. N OF W DITCH A DITCH TERMINUS 0.8M WIDE, RUNNING N-S. DITCHES WERE EARLIEST FEATURES IN EXCAV AREA, SUGGESTING A SINGLE TENEMENT IN 11/12 CENT. (FURTHER DISCUSSION ETC)(B1).
