BRITISH GAS PIPELINE SITE NA553. LOCATED DURING SITE VISIT BY M ROBINSON, G LAMBRICK & R HOLGATE, 13M E OF MODERN STREAM BED. PEAT-FILLED GULLEY WITH POORLY DEFINED EDGES, PROBABLY OLD CHANNEL LOOPING OUT FROM THAMES. 3 LAYERS, WITH ENVIRONMENTAL REMAINS & FLINTS. DATE UNCERTAIN AS YET (B1).
