Description

SITE FOUND BY P JONES IN SEPT 1982. RELIEF DRAINAGE DITCH CUT THROUGH DEPOSIT OF POTTERY & KILN FURNITURE & ?PART OF KILN WALL, BUT NOT POSS TO EXCAVATE UNTIL 1983, WHEN MOST OF AREA DESTROYED. LIMITED EXCAV OF 2 AREAS OF BURNT CLAY NEARBY, 1 A CLAY PIT & 1 ANOMALOUS FEATURE (B1-2)(SEE CASS 05241).
