Description

IN ORIGINAL MACHINE-CUT SECTION, A SHORT VERTICAL SECTION OF YELLOW CLAY CONTAINING PLENTIFUL CHARCOAL WAS VISIBLE. THIS MAY HAVE BEEN PART OF A KILN WALL, BUT WAS DESTROYED BEFORE EXCAVATION WAS POSSIBLE (B1-2).
