Tannery

A tannery is a site at which the hides of animals are processed and turned into leather. Tanneries usually consist of a complex of buildings relating to different stages of the process. Tanneries have been identified at Hunter Street in Buckingham and at Frogmore Bus Station in High Wycombe.
