Description

LARGE NOS OF HORN CORES UNEARTHED AT DEPTH OF 4-5FT, ABOVE LAYER OF PEAT, DURING SEWER WORKS AT OLD BUS STATION. HORN CORES SAID TO BE LARGER THAN THOSE FROM CASTLE SITE (CASS 00607).SENT TO DR I W CORNWALL (SEE CORRESPONDENCE FILED). OTHER FINDS FROM SEWER TRENCH: TIMBER & POST-ROMAN TILE (B1).
