Description

POTTERY FOUND WHILE FIELDWALKING FIELD CENTRED ON ABOVE NGR. GREATER CONCENTRATION OF SHERDS FOUND IN SW CORNER OF FIELD (TO S OF RED PATCH SEEN DURING AIR PHOTOGRAPHY). MAINLY JUGS WITH STRAP & ROD HANDLES, SLASHED OR STABBED. MOST HAD GREEN/BROWN GLAZE. PROBABLY LATE C13/EARLY C14 (B7).
