Description

TEN ACRE FIELD SHOWN ON ENCLOSURE MAP, 1779. NOW THE GROUNDS OF TAPLOW CRICKET CLUB. FINDS, INCLUDING RB POT, MADE BY COL S C MARRIOTT WHEN TRENCH OPENED BY BURNHAM WATERWORKS CO., 1954. FURTHER WORK IN 1955 WAS EXAMINED BY M.T.A.H.S.: EXCAVATIONS AT PIPE JOINTS 5.5M APART (B1-2).
