CHALK LUMPS FOUND IN A LAYER AT DEPTH OF 20-50CM BELOW TURF BOTTOM, IN SITES 20,21 & 22 (IE. IN CENTRAL PORTION OF PIPE TRENCH IN 10 ACRE FIELD). NO S IGN OF A FLOOR FOUND ON FURTHER EXCAVATION (BI1)
