Description

CIRCULAR HUT FLOORS DISCOVERED DURING GWR CUTTING IN WINDMILL FIELD. HUT FLOORS FORMED BY SINKING A FLOOR 1-2M. HUTS ASSOCIATED WITH B/A POTTERY & ANIMAL BONES. POTTERY AT BCM INCLUDES SAXON, SO POSSIBLE THAT HUTS ARE IN FACT GRUBENHAUSEN (B2-4,B6,B8-11,B13).
SITE NOW DEVELOPED: NO FEATURES OR SURFACE FINDS (B8).
