STRUCTURES FOUND C.1751 BY WORKMEN MAKING LAKE AT NGR (SEE LETTER OF 1753): INCLUDE COIN HOARD, MAUSOLEUM(?), MOSAIC. EVIDENCE FOR VILLA IN AREA OF LAKE? (SEE :01-03). NB ROMAN FINDS AT MANTLES GREEN, CAS 0292)(B1).
NO EVIDENCE OF ROMAN OCCUPATION FOUND IN DRIED-UP BED OF LAKE (SEE REPORT)(B2).
