HELD HONOUR OF WALLINGFORD. PART OF MANOR HELD BY ROBERT DOYLEY 1086. DIVIDED 1203, HALF KNOWN AS TEMPLE WYCOMBE GIVEN TO ROBERT VIPONT. 1227 GRANTED TO KNIGHTS TEMPLARS. 1307 PASSED TO KNIGHTS HOSPITALLERS. HELD IT TILL DISSOLUTION. LATE C16 RAUNCE FAMILY. ?1624-1700 ARCHDALE FAMILY (B3).
