Description

The Metropolitan Railway opened from Baker Street to Harrow-on-the Hill in 1880, to Pinner in 1885 and to Rickmansworth in 1887. Chalfont Road to Chesham opened on 8 July 1889. It became a branch line on 1 September 1892 when the Chalfont Road to Aylesbury line was opened (B1, B2).
