Description
CHURCHYARD CONTAINS FAMILY TOMB OF THOMAS GRAY, WHERE HE, HIS MOTHER & AUNT ARE BURIED [00915:01:001]. GRAY'S ELEGY ON A COUNTRY CHURCHYARD PROBABLY REFERS TO THIS CHURCHYARD (B4).
Assessment of historical and landscape context included in management plan for Stoke Park (B9).
Watching brief by Oxford Archaeology in September 2003 during groundworks for a new vestry extension recorded three unmarked graves and foundation trenches for the late 18th century boundary wall and for the 1907 vestry (B11).
