THE EARLIEST PROPERTY HELD BY THE DEANE FAMILY IN HAMBLEDEN APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN AT COLSTROP, WHERE THEY WERE SEATED AS EARLY AS 1577... & CONTINUED IN POSSESSION OF COLSTROP. REPRESENTED TODAY BY MR LOUIS DEANE OF COLSTROP FARM (B1-2).
1494: CAPITAL MESSUAGE GRANTED TO THOMAS A DENE (B3).
