Description

Farm buildings shown on Inclosure map of 1780. Two adjoining buildings aligned roughly N-S are shown on the western boundary, fronting Betts Lane, with an entrance gate to the south (in the SW corner of the farmyard). The farmhouse is shown as a L-shaped building with a pond to its E, the surviving N-S barn is also shown with a smaller building at right angles to it at its S end, but not connected to the barn. The first edition 25-inch map shows only 1 building fronting the lane (the lane in now a footpath), the farmhouse has been extended and the surviving N-S barn has been extended to the north (B2-3).
