Summary

Medieval and post-medieval parish church of St Augustine's, Westbury. Nave has 3 bays with early 14th century arcades on octagonal piers with moulded caps and bases, the north side more elaborate. 19th century clerestory. Chancel arch and arch to West Tower are 13th century, the latter with serrated ornament. Chancel has two 13th century lancets and Decorated 3-light East window. South wall has piscina, vestry doorway and archway containing organ. All much restored 1863.

Grade II+. Rubble stone, tiled roofs with slate over aisle. C19 saddle-back roof to Tower. Nave has 3 bays with early C14 arcades on octagonal piers with moulded caps and bases, the north side more elaborate. C19 clerestory. Chancel arch and arch to W. Tower are C13, the latter with serrated ornament. Chancel has 2 C13 lancets and Decorated 3-light E. window. S. wall has piscina, vestry doorway and archway containing organ. All much restored 1863. C19 glass (B6).

Parish Church of St Augustine. Early C13th West tower and late C13th chancel with a C14th nave. The arcades are C14th, those on the South side looking earlier than those on the North. It was much restored in 1863. Grade II* (B8).
