Grade II. Mid-late 18th century landscape park and pleasure grounds surrounding a 19th century country house, with formal 19th and 20th century elements. Principle surviving remains comprise northern parkland, wooded pleasure grounds south and west of the house, formal rose and lily pool gardens of 1900-1907, a Dutch garden of about 1930, walled kitchen garden, and garden buildings. The grounds include the gardens of Hedsor Priory (rebuilt 1843), laid out by a former steward, Montagu Hepworth, probably during the late C19, with work during the 1940s to a design by Percy Cane. See Register entry for detail (B8).
WDC enforcement officer reports substantial groundworks carried out by farmer in vicinity of folly at SU90578663 (B9).
