Description

HOUSE PLATFORMS & VILLAGE EARTHWORKS SHOW UP WELL ON APS; EXTENT & NGR PLOTTED FROM THEM (B9).
USUAL PATTERN OF SUNKEN ROADWAYS & RECTANGULAR HOUSE PLATFORMS. WHOLE SITE ENCLOSED BY VERY FINE RIDGE & FURROW. SOME DAMAGE BY CATTLE & TRACTORS. SCHEDULED (B10).
SURVEY & DESCRIPTION (B11).
SURVEY (B8).
Watching brief carried out by Network Archaeology in March 2000 during groundworks for septic tank. Only features identified were post-medieval (probably 19th century) spreads of spoil, probably related to the construction of the adjacent farm buildings or possibly to improve drainage around an adjacent field gate (B16).
