DR BROWNE-WILLIS IN HIS MSS MENTIONS EXISTENCE OF SEVERAL SUBTERRANEAN ROOMS & PASSAGES LEADING FROM THE MOUNT DOWN TO CHURCH & TOWN, UNCOVERED FROM OPENING AT W END OF MOUNT (B2).
IN 1909 A PASSAGE WAS FOUND UNDER HOUSE LEADING OUT BENEATH GARDEN IN A S OR SW DIRECTION (B5).
