Door and lean-to porch between left bays. C19 extension to rear. U-plan range of tiled brick outbuildings, partly of thin brick, is attached to projecting bay and forms right side of yard in front of house. RCHM I p. 59-60 Mon. 11 (B1).
An archaeological watching brief carried out whilst the foundations for an infill extension where excavated did not reveal any features or artifacts of significance. The area had been heavily disturbed during the installation of 19th and 20th century services. The foundations of Old Arngrove Farmhouse were revealed to be made of roughly-hewn blocks of stone in a sandy mortar with tile spacers. The foundations were 0.4m deep (B4).
