Description
Historic building recording by AOC Archaeology of the former cow shed and cart store at Old Arngrove Farm carried out in November 2021 in advance of building rennovation work, concluded that the cow shed and cart store were constructed in the late 18th/early 19th century, as part of a rebuilding in brick of earlier 17th century farm buildings. The cart store was extended to the south-west in the late 19th century. See report for detail (B5).
Negative watching brief carried out by AOC Archaeology between November 2022 and February 2023 during groundworks for building conversion, including internal ground reduction, underpinning and external drainage trenches and a soakaway. See report for detail (B6).
