Description

Grade II. Pair of gate piers. C17, altered. Ashlar. Square in plan with off-set pyramid caps. Said to have come from Boarstall Manor (B1-2).
'A cannonball of iron, weighing 9.5lbs, and found imbedded in one of those piers…is, no doubt, a relic of the siege of Boarstall House' (B3).
