EXTENSIVE AREA OF IRON SMELTING SLAG ASSOCIATED WITH RB POTTERY & WELL- DEVELOPED LYNCHETS; ALSO CONTAINS A LARGE CONCENTRATION OF CHARCOAL.RELATIONSHIP OF SLAG TO LYNCHETS IS UNCLEAR (FURTHER DISCUSSION. OTHER NEARBY SITES SEE :01-02:000; CASS 5762:03 (B1-2). FURTHER FINDS OF SLAG (B3).
