EXTENSIVE AREA OF IRON SMELTING SLAG ASSOCIATED WITH RB POTTERY (B1). POTTERY WAS SPREAD ALONG LYNCHETS LIKE SLAG, BUT MOSTLY FROM UPTURNED TREE ROOTS, SO UNSTRATIFIED. C1AD? FINDS TO BCM INCLUDE 3 STORAGE JAR RIMS, 2 FOOTRING BASES, 1 BASE, 14 SHERDS, 1 PIECE IRONSTONE (B2). FURTHER 9 RB SHERDS AND 1 LID? SHERD (B3)
