Description
KILN SITE FOUND IN FIELDWALKING. POTTERY RECOVERED WAS OF TYPICAL BRILL/BOARSTALL FABRIC. PROVISIONALLY 2 PERIODS OF KILN ACTIVITY: LATER C13/C14 & LATER C15/EARLY C16 (B1).
STUDY OF CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF CERAMIC FROM KILN (B2) ON AWAITED WHEN POTTERY HAS BEEN PROCESSED. Concertration of sherds in this location = 190+ per survey square (B1).
A field survey carried out by June Stong noted 3 kiln sites, a well, and up to 12 house platforms in this field (B3)
