MILL INDICATED ON 1841 TITHE MAP BY EXISTENCE OF A LEAT & SMALL POND, & FIELD NAMES 'MILL YARD' (NGR), 'MILL GROUND' &C. LARGE PLATFORM MAY BE MILL BUILDING SITE (& ARE OTHER PLATFORMS). A NOW DRY LEAT DIVERTED THE LECK FOR C 1KM, FROM W OF LODGE FARM; CHANNELLED WATER TO MILL? (B4).
