A MILL WAS HELD WITH THE MANOR OF GREAT LECKHAMSTEAD IN 1206. IN 1279, JOHN THE MILLER, WHO RENTED A WATERMILL, WAS A FREEHOLDER OF GT LECKHAMSTEAD (B1,B6).
THERE ARE REFERENCES TO A MILL AT LECKHAMSTEAD IN CHARTERS C1190-1205, C1225-31, 1210-19 (B2).
