LATE C10 APPARENTLY IN POSSESSION OF MONASTERY OF CHRISTCHURCH, CANTERBURY. AFTER CONQUEST HELD BY ARCHBISHOP LANFRANC. 1545 BOUGHT BY HENRY BRADSHAWE; LATER PASSED TO WINCHCOMBE. C17 - FERMOR WHO SOLD TO FRANCIS DASHWOOD IN 1720. FROM 1851 - ROTHSCHILD (B5).
