WORMSLEY WAS HELD IN MID C13 DIRECTLY OF THE HONOUR OF WALLINGFORD. PHILIP DE WORMSLEY ENFEOFFED JOHN SON OF ADAM OF LEWKNOR, WHO WAS HOLDING IN 1279. 1574, WILLIAM WALLER CONVEYED MANOR TO ADRIAN SCROPE AND STAYED IN SCROPE & FANE FAMILIES UNTIL C20 (B1).
