Description

Grade II. House. Early C18. Flint with brick quoins, off-set plinth, flush first-floor band course, and straight vertical brick strips flanking windows. Cogged eaves, old tile roof, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys and attic, 5 bays. Cross casements, the upper lights leaded, the lower lights with wooden casements. Ground floor windows have gauged brick heads. Central half-glazed door with C20 gabled timber porch. Small attic casements in gables. 2 parallel rear wings at right- angles to front range with irregular casements. South side has large horizontal sliding sash to first floor, possibly to weaving loft (B3).
