OCT-NOV 1978 WORKMEN LAYING WATERPIPE TO E OF VILLAGE DISCOVERED 2 GROUPS OF POTTERY IN CLOSE PROXIMITY (SEE ALSO CASS 04405). INITIAL FIND IN THIS AREA CONSISTED OF 3- POSSIBLY 4- ELEMENTS: POTTERY FROM TRENCH SPOIL; DITCH/PIT; QUANTITY OF IA SHERDS FROM AREA SAID BY MR HUGHES TO SHOW SIGNS OF FIRE (B1).
