QUANTITY OF SHERDS DISCOVERED AT SP6992 0913 BY MR E CHERRY (JCB DRIVER). POTTERY OF MIDDLE IA DATE, C5-C2 BC. ALL SHERDS HANDMADE & FAIRLY THICK. MR HUGHES SAYS SIGNS OF GREAT DEAL OF FIRE ABOUT THE AREA & SEVERAL OF THE SHERDS ARE DISCOLOURED & BRITTLE (B1).
