Description

BEFORE CONQUEST MANOR HELD BY ALRIC, SON OF GODING. IN 1086 BELONGED TO WALTER GIFFARD. THEN PASSED TO MARSHAL, EARLS OF PEMBROKE; CLARES; PEVERS & ZOUCHE. SOLD IN 1529 TO JOHN CROKE. NOW HELD BY AUBREY-FLETCHER FAMILY (B3).
